For anyone sourcing exterior wood cladding, photographs are only the starting point. Seeing a sample in person makes it easier to compare grain, colour, surface texture and finish before moving into detailed project discussions.
Our sample preparation puts this hands-on experience at the centre of our exhibition planning. MUMU's product range includes black charred wood siding, thermally modified timber, wood shingles, decorative faux beams, wood partitions and outdoor furniture, offering plenty of possibilities to discuss.
From a deeply textured charred surface to a smoother brushed finish, small differences can change the look of a finished space. Through our sample presentation, we want to help buyers explore these options and discuss wood species, profiles, dimensions and colours with our team.

Natural Wood for Biophilic Design and Outdoor Living
Biophilic design, indoor-outdoor living and contemporary timber façades offer useful inspiration for conversations at the fair. For projects exploring these ideas, wood brings visible grain, tactile surfaces and a choice of warm or dark finishes.
A black timber façade can create a striking contrast with greenery, while natural wood tones can connect ceiling details, partitions and furniture. We look forward to discussing how these combinations might work in residential, hospitality and commercial projects.
New Team Uniforms for the Canton Fair
Our preparations also include a fresh look for the MUMU team. The new utility-style vests feature the MUMU DESIGN logo and our cheerful wood-inspired mascot, with practical pockets and contrasting panels.
The design reflects our approach to work: practical, approachable and focused on wood. It also gives visitors an easy way to recognise our team when they stop by to ask a question, compare samples or talk through a project.
We are looking forward to wearing them as we welcome familiar partners and meet new customers.
